Our first post: three curves — capacity, lead time, value — behind a decade of export growth.
This is the first post on the Xionglan blog, starting with the question every buyer asks: why are more overseas projects choosing Chinese steel?
Capacity: China's annual fabrication capacity exceeds 120 million tonnes — over half the world — and the scale brings precision and cost advantages no one can match soon. Lead time: a mature chain of detailing, factory prefabrication, ocean freight and site assembly makes a 3-month plant delivery routine. Value: at equal standards, total cost typically runs 20–35% below European or American fabrication.
Cross-border buying has real risks too: quality variance, document compliance, communication cost. This blog will keep writing the specific lessons from our 12 years of export practice — no concepts, just what makes projects work.
