This month Xionglan expanded its BIM detailing team to 12 engineers, all working in Tekla Structures.
The workflow has changed: members, joints and bolt holes are fully modeled in 3D, and the model outputs CNC data directly to the cutting and drilling lines, reducing manual lofting errors. Problems that used to slip through — crane girder stiffener interferences, knee-brace clashes — are now caught before any steel is cut.
